Dermapen Skin Needling

Fraser Clinic’s advanced Dermapen skin needling technology allows for the delivery of up to 80% more topical skin nutrients such as Hyaluronic acid, vitamins and peptides to the skins fibroblasts.

The fine microtrauma caused by the needles stimulates natural collagen and elastin production. The fine channels into the skin allow for the delivery of up to 80% more topical skin nutrients such as Hyaluronic acid, vitamins and peptides to the skins fibroblasts. This increased absorption of active ingredients into the skin creates repair and rejuvenation.

Adjustable needle depths allow for a treatment tailored to your individual needs.

Dermapen is recommended for

  • Skin tightening and rejuvenation
  • Fine lines and open pores
  • Dull, devitalized sun damaged skin
  • Acne scarring

FAQ’s

Is the treatment painful?

A local anaesthetic cream is applied to the treatment area prior to treatment to minimize any discomfort ensuring treatments are well tolerated.

What is the downtime?

Immediately post treatment the skin is red, generally fading to pink over 24 hours. A mineral makeup may be worn the next day.

How many treatments do I need?

For general skin rejuvenation we recommend 4 treatments each 4 weeks apart. For acne scarring 6 treatments each 6 weeks apart.

Is there any skin prep?

For optimal results we recommend pretreatment with Vitamin C & A serums and resveratrol moisturiser to build up the skins strength, especially for thin and delicate skins. We recommend the continued use of these products after treatment to maintain your results.

How soon after Fillers can I have treatment?

We recommend at least 2 weeks post filler treatment to allow the filler to settle before Dermal needling. Alternatively have the Dermal needling the week before your fillers.
