What is Retinol ? Retinol is an alcohol form of vitamin A (can act up to 20 times more powerfully than retinyl palmitate). A powerful agent for photoageing, it improves the appearance of fine lines, dryness and sundamage. What is Lactic acid ? Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxyacid (AHA), naturally found in milk, molasses and human skin. Less drying than Glycolic acid, it improves photodamage and surface pigmentation, while giving a gentle exfoliation.
What is vitamin C ? Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is essential to health and life. It is essential for the formation of collagen and elastin, both major components of the skin. It is a potent free radical scavenger and reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation and has wound healing properties.
Its antioxidant effect is more potent when used with vitamin E.
What is vitamin E ? Vitamin E ( alpha tocopherol) is a major lipid soluble antioxidant and free radical scavenger in the body. Works more powerfully when combined with Vit C and Vit A.
What is Bear Berry extract ? Bear berry extract is a botanically derived non toxic active ingredient containing arbutin, which has skin lightening qualities.
What is Vitamin A? or retinol, a powerful free radical scavenger used as an anti-ageing and healing ingredient. Assists development of healthy skin cells. Topically applied Vitamin A increases rate of skin exfoliation producing brighter clearer looking skin.
